Sergei Bakin was born in Leningrad in 1957.
He studied at the Art School and the Academy, named after Repin, from 1968-1975.
Sergei completed his studies, specialising in fashion at the College, named after Mukhina, in 1982.
In 1998 Sergei was elected to the Artists’ Union and he embarked on his new career as a professional artist.
After participating in over 50 exhibitions in Russia and Europe, Sergei Bakin has established a reputation as the master chronicler of ballet rehearsals.
